Yeah…they are and they know it….but I adore them and I always have fun with them! These photos will speak for themselves….but I must add, these were NOT all my ideas. I do however believe we got on a roll of Awkward Family Photos (.) com and ran with it. BWAHAHA.
I put a call out near the end of last year for twins! In the 4 years I have been doing this I have never once had twins…and for curiousity sake, I wanted to try them! (lol….looking back at that sentence makes it sound like a meal. Uhhh..no!) I meant, I have never had the fun of shooting with twins. I had a BUNCH of people send me Terri and Darcey’s way and sure enough they were up for it! Then they booked the maternity session as well! LUCKY ME!
It was a cool day but got colder as we went along. They were great sports though…and I am just thrilled with the images. Reminder alert: Terri is carrying TWINS and looking so fabulous! K was a ball of busy and kept me running. Oooh…guys…3 boys in the house! Your days will be filled with dirty knees, frogs in pockets and sticky fingers!

Eeeeppp….so you booked your super hot boudoir session but now what? What do you wear? Shoes, no shoes? Hair up…down? Ahhhhhh!!!! Maybe a one piece outfit…or just a bra and panties…maybe nothing? Well…I will help you!!!
Now, there are a couple different things you need to think of:
Outfits~whether you choose a cute little bra and panties set, a colorful boustier or a baby doll set….choose soemthing that you think fit who you are/your personality…AND be sure to keep your recipient’s likes in mind! Solid color, ruffles and lace… bright and playful, sexy little print…it doesn’t matter what it is as long as it’s YOU! Make sure you find your perfect size and that you feel cofortable in what you are choosing! Don’t forget to think about his favorite fantasies…maybe you are the school girl, the naughty nurse….LOL…..you know he loves it so why not have some fun and give him something he’ll remember forever! Bride to be…bring your veil and garter! Whatever you choose to do….do it well!
Next…let’s think about shoes!
I am not much a shoe person but I can tell you that it will make all the difference! Now, you won’t wear them in every set that you do but a cute pair…..well, they can make or break an image! Solid and simple, bold and funky, doesn’t matter…just keep in mind the outfits you have chosen!
On to accessories!
A simple strand of pearls is always the best. (which is why I always bring a set with me!) Big clunky bracelettes, rings and necklaces are a plus. Long whispy pieces…the kind that wrap around your neck and shoulder are lovely! Again…you have to remember what you are wearing! Simple white, black and creams are GREAT….but try for that pop of color…it will ROCK! Hairpieces are always great…a little headband, flowers, feathers.
Ooh…and PROPS!
You must NOT forget about this part! If your hubby is a Hockey fan, bring a jersey/stick. A cowboy…hat, boots and chaps! A firefighter…..his hat and hose (if you can somehow sweet talk the fire department for this!). How about his favorite flower petals, or if your hubby likes treats….an apron and real cupcakes! Maybe his shirt and tie. The possibilities are ENDLESS! And please…run your ideas past me…I love to create the perfect little sets for YOU!
Boudoir allows you to tap into the deepest parts of you……allows you to play with your naughty side, your sexy side, your playful, subtle, shy……. Always remember that I will be there to help you, guide you and show you!
Don’t forget the whole package….nails, hair and make-up are all fantastic extras to make you look your absolutely BEST for your session!
Last but not least…….CONFIDENCE IS SEXY!!!!!!!
I had the pleasure of shooting with this family a few weeks back. The weather was still warm, the leaves were still on the trees. Nothing makes me happier than to hear a client say, “We trust you, so do whatever you want.” So I did! And oh am I ever in love with these images. The love, warmth…the strength and beauty. You can see how much mama and daddy love each other…and their baby girl is swimming in hugs and kisses. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do. And once you get that canvas done up…send me a photo! 
Little Trent wanted nothing to do with me and that’s a fact. haha. His refusal to cooperate just made my determination grow so when we finally figured out what would work with him….I worked quickly. I walked away with more shots than I thought I got and that made everyone happy. 
Trent is however an ADORABLE little man….and you could tell that mom and dad were so in love with him! I bet that even if he woke up 50 times a night and cried all day…mom would still smile when he was in her arms. But for mom’s sake…I hope he sleeps wonderfully now. hehe.
Here he is with daddy’s baby blanket! So so so sweet and he held that eye to eye contact for the longest time. Staring me down I suppose….haha
When I was asked to do this family session I seriously couldn’t wait! I was very excited and had high hopes….and I wasn’t let down! Everyone smiled, everyone was willing to participate, everyone exceeded my standards. I like to think we all even had fun. Hope you guys and gals enjoy your images…..this is just a tiny peek of what you are getting.
I had such a wonderful time capturing the little moments with Addison…and it was a “hoot” when big sister joined it. You can just tell that A’s parents are head over heels in love with their girls and it was refreshing to watch them snuggle and cuddle…..and play with big sis while little sis got her photos done. You’re family is perfect…gorgeous in fact and I hope to again capture your girls…maybe outside when they are both running around and giggling.
Ooooh…what can I say…..I love a good challenge! lol This extended family of 20 was exactly that. Can I just say that 11 kids under the age of 12 is rough…lol But we did it! Oh yeah..and it was awesome! I stuck to more traditional family shots and it was fantastic! I LOVE LOVE LOVE the location and hope to use it again in the future as it’s just that amazing!
You guys and gals were FANTASTIC to work with…I really had alot of fun!
This mini man was born a healthy 10 pounder. He ‘s now 6 months old and one of the happiest, smiliest and chubbiest babes I have ever known. We did a mini session the other day just to be able to capture the right now…..he’s just started sitting! Enjoy his adorableness:
Steve and Jenilee booked me months before their wedding and I was excited then and evern more excited on their big day! May was the perfect month….warm and cool….light sprinkle of rain. The sun shone and yet the thunder clouds hung in the air. Every time we walked out the door…..the rain stopped. It was FABULOUS….as if perfectly timmed! Every minute spent with them was fantstic….I laughed so much I had tears a few times. Their wedding party was SO fun to be with and were up for all the wackodoodle ideas we came up with! The wedding itself was lovely…a real charmer and I wish you both nothing but a life of happiness.
Ooooh….is this not the BEST!!!!! Minutes before the ceremony…we got a rainbow!
