I Choose You!
August 5, 2010 – 2:06 pm
A friend recently wrote about the love she has for her son….and as I edited through these photos today I could see the choices and the love of these parents.
(http://www.jennifersummer.com/words/?p=1137, go take a read)
After watching this new mom and dad…you can see that they choose each other. Although everything they do now is new territory, a learned experience…they choose to do it together, as a family.
I believe they will do many a wonderful things together and I can only hope that when they are back in Manitoba…I will get to capture little C again!
A few more just because little C was just too special…..
Best of luck on your family adventures!

Sweet 6 Months.
June 29, 2010 – 11:06 am
I’ve had this post saved for 2 weeks already waiting to just be posted. My time seems to be slipping away so quickly lately…
………………………………………………….
This little darling was so unsure about the session. With mommy and daddy close by she shared a few smiles mixed in with her serious faces.

You can just see and feel how loved she is!

Last weekend I had an adorable couple drive out from Wpg to get maternity photos done with me.
They were so excited, full of love and so much fun! They were up for anything….and so we did everything!
Seriously, how fun is this…….
I find 4 leaf clovers so easy, I always have. So I didn’t doubt I would find one for the session….
Lucky me….lucky them!
We somehow kept a flower theme throughout the session….I like it.
Did I mention it was a little on the cool side…..but K was wonderful about it. She is also stunningly gorgeous!
Congratulations!
I can barely find out what you had….I made them promice to email me when he/she is born!
(if I had to guess…I’d say girl)
You Shook Me All Night Long……
June 15, 2010 – 8:31 pm
I had the most amazing pleasure of shooting Lisa & Josh’s Wedding at the beginning of August!
It was supposed to POUR and after many prayers…..it stayed beautiful and overcast, a dream come true for me!
The 5 of us took off for 3 hours to “play” in different settings. We really had a blast…..
A photographers dream!
Part 2 sneak peak coming tomorrow……..

This post should have been up 2 weeks ago, unfortunately….I forgot. Ooopps!
These two were adorable with each other…..
We just had fun, relaxed and enjoyed the inside because the outside was far too cold and windy.
Hello…..GORGEOUS CHILDREN!
and my FAVORITE photo of the day….
I hope to shoot these two every year….mom and dad are very blessed!

The Birth Of A Passion….
April 21, 2010 – 1:48 pm
Last week I had the amazing pleasure of being featured in an article in the local paper highlighting my work.
It focused on my passion…..birth photography and since it is such a new option in this world I figured I’d spend a few moments explaining why birth photography is so important to me…..
It started last year after mentioning it lightly with friends of mine that were expecting. It took them all of 20 seconds to say yes and from that point I just waited for a phone call. Then 4 more clients, now friends….decided to hire me for their big day as well.
Getting to be a part of such a crutial and amazing moment…well, it’s humbling.
I watch the emotions unfold….the excitement…..
the exhaustion……
the wait……
the strength…..
and the joy….
I warn my clients that I will do my job….but to be warned, I’ll cry because birth hold a special place in my heart. I’ve birthed 4 babies myself.
It is a mountain of emotions and I am so lucky to be able to capture the highs and lows and to provide that to my clients, my friends and that later on they can go back and watch how that whole day unfolded. To smile and cry and to know that they accomplished one huge miracle.
I’ve never had a client regret having me there for the day….just a few that regretted not having me there. It’s a huge decision to ask a complete stranger into the delivery room with you but after a consult meeting, you will easily see that I work for you. I flow by your rules and will always respect your decisions. I’m there to capture your moments and remain a fly on the wall during the entire process, unless asked. I hope to open the worlds eyes and provide images to clients that will forever be cherished.
